Throughout the year, artist Catherine Parayre has been expanding upon her work for the PdBA collection (#51 Walking / Endnotes) through a series of textual experiments engaging with the immediate surroundings of the building and its fleeting immateriality. Interweaving factual research, direct observation, and distant wandering, Parayre constructs atemporal linguistic surfaces that drift between here and there, and now and then.
When in Vienna, and alongside her written works, Parayre has invited various groups to join her on collaborative walks that extend her practice of noticing, speaking, and writing the surroundings.
